Adeladius Makwega – Musoma, MARA.
The Office of the Regional Commissioner of Mara on April 15, 2026 has continued to provide services to citizens in this area located in the northeastern part of Tanzania, near Lake Victoria.
The region is estimated to have more than two million people engaged in business, agriculture, fishing, mining, and livestock keeping.
Mwanakwetu witnessed several citizens entering this public office located at the foot of Mount Mukendo, which throughout the year is covered in the greenery of Chanikiwiti vegetation.
As of 11:00 a.m. on April 15, several citizens had come to receive services. Among them was Said Hassan, who introduced himself as coming from Kinondoni in Dar es Salaam. He arrived to see the Mara Regional Administrative Secretary at 8:49 a.m., met with Mr. Gerald Musabila Kusaya, received good service, and then left.
Women were not left behind in visiting this public institution. Mrs. Maryciana Sonda from Musoma Rural also came and met with the Mara Regional Administrative Secretary. She received services and then departed.
All these visitors who met the Regional Administrative Secretary, Mr. Kusaya, were first warmly received by Richard Magoiga, a Senior Office Assistant, and Ms. Misambo Gambuna, a Senior Office Operator at the Office of the Mara Regional Administrative Secretary.
At the time this article was being prepared, two pages of the visitors’ book at the main gate of the Mara Regional Commissioner’s Office had already been filled with the names of these visitors in their own handwriting. This indicates that all visitors who entered this institution on that day are literate.
Meanwhile, the weather in the town of Musoma is 26°C, humidity is 10%, chance of rain is 56%, and wind speed is 13 km/h.
