The Ramadan of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania Is Invalid

Adeladius Makwega – MBAGALA

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a government department responsible for conducting a nation’s foreign policy, managing international relations, and promoting national interests abroad. Its main duties include diplomatic representation, negotiating treaties, protecting citizens living abroad, advancing economic interests, promoting international cooperation, and providing protocol services.”

The key responsibilities of this Ministry include:

“Formulation and Implementation of Foreign Policy: Defining and implementing the goals and strategies of the nation’s foreign policy.Second, Diplomatic Relations: Managing relations with other countries and international organizations (for example, the UN and the EAC).Third, Representation Abroad: Operating embassies, consulates, and permanent missions, as well as overseeing foreign diplomats.Fourth, Protection of Citizens and National Interests: Providing consular services, safeguarding national security, and promoting the interests of citizens living abroad.Fifth, International Treaties: Negotiating, signing, and overseeing bilateral and multilateral agreements.Sixth, Economic and CulturalDiplomacy:Promoting trade, investment, and cultural exchanges.Seventh, Protocol Services: Managing official visits, diplomatic ranks, and diplomatic immunities.Eighth, Information Dissemination: Educating the public about international affairs and regional cooperation, such as the East African Community.”

Here, Mwanakwetu is reading an article written online about the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Mwanakwetu’s assessment, based on the duties of this ministry, he believes that under the leadership of the son of Thabit Kombo, this is the only period during which Tanzania has been burdened with various domestic and international accusations, including incidents of sodomy, rape, torture, disappearances, and even the killing of several groups of demonstrators. Several names have been mentioned as perpetrators of these wrongdoings, while survivors who narrowly escaped have been raising their voices and pointing fingers at certain individuals by their names, their fathers’ names, and even their grandfathers’ names.

“Up to now, what has the son of Thabiti Kombo responded? What advice has he given?”

Mwanakwetu observes that the explanations given by the son of Thabiti Kombo clearly show that he personally supports these shameful acts and is not disturbed by them. The Minister of Foreign Affairs ought to have shown statesmanship in such a situation, and if these matters are continuing, then out of respect for his father, Thabiti Kombo, our brother Mahmoud should resign.

My reader, remember that Mwanakwetu is reflecting deeply on opinions about Tanzania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

What is Mwanakwetu saying today?

Indeed, according to the profile of the current Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania, the son of Thabiti Kombo, it is claimed he was born on July 8, 1970, and by July 8, 2026, he will turn 56 years old. He is a mature man with children and perhaps even grandchildren. Every step of his ministerial leadership must be used to heal Tanzanians and build a good name for Tanzania for the benefit of his generation and all Tanzanians. His statements should be measured, because the name Thabiti Kombo is not one to be treated lightly; he himself must recognize that he has a responsibility to protect his father’s honor in every action he takes and every word he speaks.

As Mwanakwetu was finishing this article, a certain individual came near to him, read part of the article, and then said:

“Mahmoud, even if he is fasting this Ramadan, his fast is invalid — he is just going hungry… he is exhausting himself. First, let him ask himself: while he is fasting Ramadan, where is Polepole? Let him ask himself what happened on October 29, 2025. Perhaps God may grant him the grace of repentance… otherwise, all the Ramadan fasts of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania are invalid…”

Mwanakwetu laughed heartily at these words declaring Hon. Mahmoud Thabiti Kombo’s Ramadan invalid and said, if that is the case for Mahmoud, what about the others? How then could Mahmoud Thabiti Kombo make his Ramadan valid? The man laughed and said this is a lesson for another day — Mahmoud Thabiti Kombo must retake his testimony of faith.

Mwanakwetu then said:

“My brother Mahmoud Thabiti Kombo, come and eat well-roasted pork at Mwanakwetu’s home, because your Ramadan has already been invalidated and declared unlawful by Islamic scholars, Mwanakwetu’s brothers.”

After this man left, Mwanakwetu added these words to his article as they are:

Mwanakwetu, are you there? Remember:

“The Ramadan fast of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania is invalid.”

I wish you a good day.
