All Employees Dismissed for Fake Certificates Have Been Given Their Entitlements – PSSSF

Adeladius Makwega – MBAGALA

On the morning of January 22, 2026, Mwanakwetu received the following instructions:

“Go to Mkendo Street; there is a meeting between PSSSF and our journalists from the Mara Region. Attend.”

Mwanakwetu picked up his bag and quickly began the journey.

My reader, if you are a visitor to the town of Musoma: Mkendo Street is located in Musoma District. It is a street at the center of Musoma Municipality, where the Mara Regional Headquarters are situated. The name Mkendo is derived from Mount Mukendo, which is located near Lake Victoria, next to the Office of the Mara Regional Commissioner. When you are on Lake Victoria, you cannot see the town of Musoma because Mount Mukendo blocks the view of the town from the lake.

Mwanakwetu arrived at the training session, where the following words were heard:

“Even those who left public service have received all their entitlements. In fact, if you check our payment system (PSSSF), it shows that this person ABCD was dismissed due to fake certificates and has already received his payments. Through this training, I announce that if there is any employee who has not collected their entitlements, they should visit the PSSSF offices, where they will be guided on how to obtain their rights.”

These were the words that welcomed Mwanakwetu into the hall where PSSSF training was being conducted for more than 50 journalists from the Mara Region. These explanations were given inside the hall by Mr. Nuru Mahinya, the Acting Manager of PSSSF for the Mara Region, as he was responding to a question from journalist Augustine Mgeni of Azam Television.

Several journalists from the Mara Region were given the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers. The aim of this training was to provide education to journalists so that this information could reach members of the fund in the Mara Region and across Tanzania as a whole.

After this, Mwanakwetu decided to write all this exactly as it appears in this article.

As these events were taking place here in Musoma Town, the weather conditions were as follows: the temperature was 27 degrees Celsius, humidity was 10 percent, the probability of rain was 51 percent, and the wind was blowing at 14 km per hour.

Are you there? Remember:

“All employees dismissed due to fake certificates have received their entitlements.”

I wish you a good day.
